Pechmann Fishing Education Center—a free\, family-friendly day filled with fishing\, outdoor adventure\, hands-on learning\, and conservation education. \nFamilies with children 15 and under can enjoy catch-and-release fishing\, kayaking\, casting contests\, lure making\, fly-fishing\, fly-tying\, fishing knots\, BB gun range\, boating simulator\, Leave No Trace education\, live demonstrations\, and more! \nBig giveaways include: \nA Lifetime Unified Sportsman License for kids 15 and under\, sponsored by the North Carolina Wildlife Federation\, plus a Family Fishing Package giveaway. \nWe are also excited to announce that Dick’s House of Sport has sponsored a Family Fishing Package for our Facebook contest! \nCome hungry—food trucks and vendors will be on site\, including Big T’s Sno-Balls\, Chick-fil-A\, and more. \nBring your own medium-action rod and reel and natural bait if you have them. No minnows allowed. Don’t have gear?
