DESCRIPTION:Students enrolled in the NewHEMP program are invited to participate in two (2) fall food plot installations. \n\nLearn how to take soil samples for nutrient analysis\nPrep the field\nLay down seed\nInstall exclusion cages\n\nFood plots can be an invaluable tool\, especially in areas where preferred food sources are scarce. Done right\, they will attract deer from a large area to browse throughout the fall hunting season and into early winter when high-quality food is hard to find. \nRespond to your calendar invite if interested in coming. \nThis event is for NewHEMP Students only\, who started their deer hunting education journey in February with us. \nInterested in joining the 2026 class?
