Family Fishing Workshop

Looking for a fun and educational way to spend time outdoors with your family? Join us for a hands-on fishing workshop designed especially for families with kids! This relaxed, beginner-friendly event is a great way to learn the basics of fishing—then put your new skills to the test at the Pechmann Fishing Education Center’s stocked ponds.

Together, families will learn:

• How to set up and cast a fishing rod
• How to tie a simple fishing knot
• Catch-and-release techniques
• How to safely catch and handle fish
• And more essential beginner fishing skills!

All equipment and materials are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm, water, and snacks to stay refreshed.

No fishing license is required.

Everyone who plans to attend—kids and adults—must be registered.
