Share Your Outdoor Expertise!
Are you a seasoned hunter or the one who always reels in the most fish from the pier? Maybe you know every hot bass spot on Harris Lake. Either way—your experience matters.
Everyone had a first time. Now, you can help someone else take theirs.
By volunteering your time, you can guide beginners through their first steps into the outdoors—whether it’s casting a line or tracking a trail. It’s a chance to share your knowledge, spark new passions, and show how nature can offer joy, connection, and even a lifelong pursuit.
Giving back feels incredible. 💚

Giving back also gave back to me
Seeing the spark in the eyes of a mentee when we walk out to the stand in the dark early morning, and then the smile when the buck is down two hours later, is priceless.

Community at Its Core
We thrive because of the dedication of volunteers, the generosity of landowners, and
the partnership with local wildlife enforcement officers. Our mentors don’t just teach, they invest in each student’s journey, cultivating an atmosphere of encouragement and personal accountability.

Participant’s feedback
If you’ve ever felt the intuitive drive to learn how to hunt, or were even hunt curious, then you have found the right group. In less than a year, this incredible program transformed me from someone who watched survival shows from the couch, into a budding and confident huntress. I started with zero knowledge about weapons, technique or even how to get started in the world of hunting. And now, 10 months in, I have successfully completed solo hunts on both private lands and in our beautiful public game lands while experiencing my first thrill of seeing a deer in my sights. While it is possible to gain a lot of knowledge online, it doesn’t compare to the real life mentorship, kindness and generosity from all who volunteer in this group. Every mentor brings their own pizzazz and specialty – whether it’s getting into the lengthy details of calibers and broadheads, teaching outdoor skills, or simply offering encouragement when you need it most. This program doesn’t just teach you how to hunt, it gives you confidence, community, and connection to the wild outdoors.
Happy Hunting, and thank you for all who make this program what it is.
