New Hill Hunter Education and Mentoring Program Field Day

Open to 2025 New Hill Hunter Education and Mentoring Program students only.
This hands-on field day will be preceded by an archery hunt.
Students will learn how to:
- Follow a blood trail
- Track and recover a deer
- Field Dress, Quarter, and Debone a deer
- Participate in hunting strategies discussions led by experienced hunters
- Participate in a mock hunting exercise that will prepare them for their first rifle hunt.
