Open to 2025 New Hill Hunter Education and Mentoring Program students only.

This event will offer students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience their first deer hunt alongside seasoned mentors. More than just a hunt, it’s a rite of passage—where safety, skill-building, and respect for the animal take center stage. From tracking and recovery to field dressing and processing, every step is guided with care and expertise.

The experience deepens through shared stories and campfire camaraderie during an overnight stay, forging bonds that last well beyond the weekend.

With a second hunt on Sunday morning, students leave not only with knowledge and confidence, but with a profound connection to nature and the hunting tradition.
